Hey, I'm Courtney—former nurse turned writer, mom, personal development junkie, queen of routines, and health and science nerd on a mission to help moms step into THAT mom energy.
Here’s what I know for sure: motherhood is amazing, but it’s also a lot. The emotional energy, the endless to-do list, the constant juggling—it’s enough to leave anyone feeling like they’re barely keeping their head above water.
That’s why I’m so passionate about helping moms like you. I believe motherhood can feel fun, meaningful, and productive—without losing yourself in the process. It’s not about rigid schedules or white-knuckling your way to change. It’s about combining strategic routines and mindset shifts that actually work for your real, messy, beautiful mom life.
No overcomplicated advice, no Pinterest-perfect plans—just practical tools to help you feel more aligned, confident, and in control. Because you already have everything you need to create the life you want—you just need a little clarity, the right routines, and a mindset that supports you every step of the way.

It All Started When....
Â
I’ve always been the kind of person who thrives on discipline and routines. I disciplined my way into a 3.9 GPA to get into a competitive nursing program (and eventually a master’s program). I disciplined my way into healing my gut with a strict gluten-free, dairy-free, low-sugar diet. I even disciplined my way into making my own skincare products because I was determined to go low-tox.
At one point, I was juggling a full load of credits every semester, working part-time, hitting the gym regularly, keeping up a social life, and bingeing personal development books and podcasts in every free moment. I had my routines dialed in, and I thought I was thriving.
But here’s the thing: all that discipline came at a cost. I started to feel burned out, like I was running on fumes, trying to be everything to everyone. Even after pivoting from nursing to working as a ghostwriter for some of the top functional medicine doctors in the world (yes, I’ve written textbook chapters, NBD), I realized something was still off.
Then, I became a mom—a role I loved more than anything. But here’s the thing about motherhood: it flips your routines upside down and throws them out the window. Suddenly, all the structure I’d relied on for years was gone, and I felt like I was spinning.
Every conversation seemed to revolve around the kids, and I realized I didn’t have much to add outside of that. I wasn’t unhappy—I loved my life—but it hit me: I’d let myself slip into the background of my own story. Motherhood had transformed me in the best ways, but it also left me wondering, Who am I now? And what’s next for me?
But Then I Realized...
Â
If I wanted to be the mom I dreamed of being—the one who’s confident, present, and full of life—I needed to make a change. I couldn’t keep living like my sole purpose was to survive the day and be the world’s most supportive mom and wife.
So, I made a decision: I was done feeling overwhelmed, done feeling like I didn’t know who this new me was, and done feeling like I was at the mercy of my never-ending to-do list. I decided to invest my energy into combining mindset work and strategic routines—the secret sauce to creating a life that just flows.
Because here’s the truth: you can’t do everything and be everything—but you can decide who you want to be, how you want to show up, and the things you want to accomplish. And when you pair mindset work with routines that make life easier, you build momentum. Little by little, things shift, and suddenly you’re stepping into the version of yourself you’ve been dreaming about.
 And Guess What? It Worked....
Â
My life isn’t always rainbows and unicorn farts just because I do this work. I still lose my patience, feel grumpy, snap at my kids, and get overwhelmed like everyone else. But here’s the difference: now, I feel like I’m steering the mom ship instead of letting life just happen to me.
I’ve created strategic routines and habits that are seamlessly integrated into my day-to-day life, making everything feel almost automatic. Because my routines support me, I pretty much always have a healthy dinner on the table, I get movement and meditation in daily, I never feel like I’m drowning in housework, and I know I’m moving the needle toward my bigger goals. None of it feels hard—these routines are just who I am now.
This shift has given me a completely different outlook on motherhood and life. I feel more intentional about my choices, more aligned with the mom I want to be, and more connected to that THAT mom energy I’m striving for every day.
It’s not about perfection—it’s about showing up with purpose and living in the AND. I can be an amazing mom AND pursue the things that make my life better. I can have hard days AND still feel good about who I am and how I’m showing up.
And that’s why I’m here—to share what I’ve learned and help other moms navigate the chaos, build routines and habits that actually stick, and feel more intentional and aligned in their own lives.
